| Good Luck Chuck this is Dane Cook's latest, where he stars with Jessica Alba. basically, he gets cursed when he was a kid, to where anytime he has sex with a woman, she marries the next man after him. meaning they have sex, they break up, next guy she meets, she ends up marrying. as the news gets out about that, he starts having tons and tons of women want to date/have sex with him. meanwhile he meets and falls for Jessica Alba, who plays an extremely clumsy person obsessed with penguins. the movie's not bad. better the Mr. Woodcock by far. a lot of nudity. so if you're trying to avoid that, just don't rent the movie. or on the other hand, if you wouldn't mind seeing some female nudity, then you'll get your wish. the acting is ok, the storyline ok, the characters ok. I hate characters that make me feel awkward, and jessica alba's character did at times. that being said, Dane Cook's side-kick, the guy that stars in Balls of Fury, is hilarious. best character in the movie. slightly chick-flickish at times, but not overwelming. it's worth seeing. don't expect it to hit your top 10 list tho.

| Mr. Woodcock. This movie stars Sean William Scott as a successful writer of a popular self-help novel about getting over your dark history. the movie starts with Sean going home to receive an award from his hometown, and to visit his mother. he then learns his mother is dating his hold highs-chool gym teacher, Mr Woodcock, played by Billy Bob Thorton. Woodcock represents everything evil in the world, and Sean William Scott sets out to break up the relationship. the movie was so-so. I don't think I was expecting too much, because I honestly didn't know what to expect. I think I watched it with a pretty open mind, and I'm disappointed. it had funny parts. I'm not denying that. Billy Bob Thorton was definitely an ass. Sean William Scott played his typical character, (I think he's hilarious, but am I the only one thining he's only ever played one type of role?) it was on ok movie. rent it if you want. but I'm not recomending it to you. or anyone else. the biggest thing I can say about it is this: it's the same movie as School for Scoundrels. he plays the same character. I know it's different, but I don't think it's worth it seeing both.

| Shoot em Up. did you see Crank? did you like it? if so, watch this. if you hated Crank, forget about it. this is Crank x 10. it's action, yes. but ridiculous action. more comedy like. I didn't know anything about this one when I saw it, but I expected it to be action, and while it's non-stop action, it's most definitely a comedy. every time there's a death, there's a smart line to follow it up. Clive Owen seemly takes himself very seriously, which only makes the movie more funny. Paul Giamatti plays a GREAT villian, which is really enjoyable. if you don't mind cheesy line with cheesy action, then definitely rent it. it's for a select crowd, but that crowd will love it.
Comedy/Action Ratings. 6/10
Balls of Fury Walken. see it for Walken. the movie is so-so, pretty funny, but not anything to write home about. but Walken makes it worth watching. of course, I'm a huge fan, so I'm biased, but his lines are great, and it's an alright movie anyway.
